Description

The Borough Council of Calderdale invites supplier to tender for the provision of a comprehensive lift maintenance contract. A full list of maintenance requirements are detailed in the lift maintenance contract and specification. Such maintenance shall be carried out in a proper professional and workmanlike manner and so as to maintain the Lift Equipment (as defined in Schedule 3) in a safe working order and to the key performance indicators specified in Schedule 2, the performance requirements of clause 12, and in full compliance with all applicable local and national regulatory codes and codes of practice, regulations, or other legal requirements concerning the Works and Services and all the requirements of this Contract.  The Services delivered under this Contract has six principal requirements: -  1) To maximise the life expectancy of the components which make up the Lifts.  2) To ensure the continued safety of the Lifts.  3) To ensure reliable operation of the Lifts.  4) To preserve ride quality on Lifts where this is stated in Schedule 3.  5) To preserve performance times and passenger handling capacity on   Lifts where this is stated in Schedule 3.  6)    To maintain cleanliness in all areas inaccessible to non-lift industry trained staff.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Attending an accompanied site visit is a condition of tender, this is to give you an idea of the lift portfolio. Dates and times will be made available via the messaging portal in due course.

Defence Equipment and Support (DES) Salvage and Marine Operations (SALMO) Delivery Team (DT) have a requirement for the provision of In-Service Support (ISS) to the Diving Life Support (DLS) portfolio of equipment.
