Description

The South Downs National Park was designated in March 2010 in recognition of it's landscapes and scenic beauty, and the South Downs National Park Authority ("the Authority") was established in April 2011. 
      
      The Authority is carrying out a review and update of the South Downs Local Plan (SDLP) and South Downs Partnership Management Plan (PMP). The Authority wishes to appoint a contractor to update the South Downs Visitor Accommodation Review to provide a useful evidence base to inform both in terms of the need and type of visitor accommodation, and if this varies, across the South Downs National Park up to 2042.

The Authority has a duty to seek to foster the social and economic wellbeing of the local communities within the National Park in pursuit of our purposes. The SDNPA delivers its purposes and duty through its function as a statutory planning authority and through the delivery of the South Downs Partnership Management Plan. In order to deliver against sometimes competing demands and to ensure efficiency, the SDNPA is an evidence led organisation. Anti-Bullying & Behaviour Toolkit 2025/26

THIS IS A CALL FOR COMPETITION The Department for Education (DfE) has published this Invitation to Tender (ITT) for a Behaviour and Anti-Bullying Best Practice Review and Toolkit. This notice is to announce the launch of procurement to conduct a best practice review and, informed by the findings of this review, create a new resource (‘toolkit’) for mainstream schools in England (ages 5 to 16). This resource will support schools in managing pupil behaviour, reducing preventable exclusions, and tackling and preventing bullying. The work is anticipated to commence in early Spring 2025. The supplier will require substantial research capabilities, as well as the ability to translate academic findings into engaging, actionable advice for schools. As the best practice review and toolkit will cover best practice in mainstream schools, the supplier will need to have detailed knowledge of the English school system.
