Description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the 'Authority') is seeking to add further experienced Providers of care home services (not individual care homes unless the Provider operates a single care home only) to their Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement will be used to establish 'Call-off Contracts' with Providers who offer placements to older individuals, usually aged 65 and over, in CQC registered establishments located in Nottinghamshire (including Nottingham City).\\r\r

A Framework Agreement is an agreement between the Authority and one or more Providers, the purpose of which is to establish the terms governing Call-off Contracts to be awarded under the Framework Agreement during a given period.\\r\r

The Framework Agreement will be available for use by the following 'Customers':\\r\r
\\r\r
• Nottinghamshire County Council\\r\r
\\r\r
• NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Partnership (formerly NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG and NHS Bassetlaw CCG)\\r\r
\\r\r
Call-off Contracts with Providers under this Framework Agreement may be formed by the Customers for new placements as well as existing placements in care homes in Nottinghamshire with the aim of bringing all care home arrangements under the Framework Agreement terms and conditions.\\r\r
\\r\r
Call-off Contracts for 'Out of County' placements to care homes operated by Providers who are a party to the Framework Agreement may also be made under the terms of the Framework Agreement. Please note that if an Out of County placement is made to a Provider that isn't a party to the Framework Agreement that Provider must bid to join this Framework Agreement at the earliest opportunity.\\r\r

Bidders must have experience of delivering relevant care home services and currently be providing care home services in Nottinghamshire or have appropriate services already in development. It is not the Authority's intention to encourage the building and development of additional care home accommodation through this project.

Young Carers Support Service

Due to the approaching expiry of an existing contract the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is advertising to seek tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the delivery of a Young Carers Support Service. The duration of this contract is two (2) years and six (6) months initially from 1st October 2025 until 31st March 2028 plus an option to extend for a further year (1), at the sole discretion of the Council, subject to funding and performance. The core areas of this service will be: • to work in collaboration with various agencies and the Local Authority to identify young carers; • being the first port of call for young carers’ support; • to ensure that young carers receive a formal assessment where requested/ required; • provide support and advice to young carers; • to provide activities for young carers to allow them to share their experiences with other young carers and also provide time away from their caring responsibilities; • to deliver a tailored service to the young carer in accordance with their assessment, and that keeps them engaged in, and attending, education, employment and training; • to work in partnership with schools to identify young carers, in addition to partner agencies including health, social care, and other voluntary and community sector providers • to provide activities that are in consultation with the young carers; and • to provide a flexible service that can meet the needs of young carers at the weekends, and evenings. HAC5983 Culturally Sensitive Substance Misuse Recovery Service

1.1 The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking to establish a Culturally Sensitive Substance Misuse Recovery Service to meet the needs of Tower Hamlet's residents facing the challenges of substance misuse. 1.2 The establishment of this service supports delivery of the Mayor's ambition to address inequalities and improve access and outcomes for the borough's residents. It is being commissioned following community engagement to better understand how we can improve access to our treatment and recovery system, and reduce the barriers and challenges faced by our local Ethnic Minority communities. 1.3 Our current Treatment and Recovery system provides three separate recovery-oriented services under the brand Reset, delivering the key components of outreach and referral, treatment, and recovery support. This new service will be embedded within the overall Reset Treatment System as part of a menu of complementary and associated interventions that are evidence-based, service-user focused, and embedded in the core principles of recovery; and will be a vital part of the redesigned Treatment and Recovery Service expected to be delivered in January 2026. https://towerhamlets.moderngov.co.uk/ieDecisionDetails.aspx?Id=7876 1.4 This new provision will deliver a specialist service offering drug and alcohol-related education, prevention, and recovery interventions focused on meeting the needs of local black and ethnic minority communities. At its core will be a structured group work programme, abstinence-based support, and a range of psychosocial interventions, including access to counselling. 1.5 As well as providing services for those living with substance misuse, the centre will be accessible to and provide services for, those affected by someone's substance misuse as part of a culturally competent, family-orientated approach to recovery; as well as delivering an extensive programme of community education and awareness raising.
