Description

Cumberland Council procured a Cumberland Advocacy Hub for adults with health and social care needs. The primary role of the Cumberland Advocacy Hub is to meet all Cumberland Council statutory duties in relation to the provision of a professional independent advocacy service under the terms of the Care Act 2014, Health Social Care Act 2012, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 1983 under a single point of access.
The advocacy service will support Cumberland residents across all categories of need, including adults with learning disability, organic and mental health functional disorder, mental health needs, acquired brain injury, physical and sensory impairment and young people in transition to adult services and other vulnerabilities and cover of all the different types of statutory advocacy including Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Care Act Advocacy, NHS Complaints and Independent Mental Health Act Advocacy.
The initial period of the contract is 3 years. There is ONE optional extension of up to 12 month. The use of this extension is at the absolute discretion of the Council.
The contract end date on this notice includes these extension periods.
The estimated annual value of the contract is: £363,000 excluding VAT.
The estimated maximum contract value over the three year term is: £1,144,000 excluding VAT. This includes an estimate of any potential uplifts.
The estimated maximum contract value over the three year term plus the one 12 month optional extension is: £1,564,933 excluding VAT. This includes an estimate of any potential uplifts.

Harrogate Court Extra Care Scheme

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver care and support to tenants of Harrogate Court along with housing related and general wellbeing support and a community hub, providing a high quality service at all times. Care and support packages will be delivered in line with assessed need. It will be a 24/7 service including first response. The contract will be for a period of five years with the option to extend for a further five 12 month periods. Harrogate Court is a 50-bed apartment extra care scheme, for People aged 55 and over. The scheme has 21 one-bedroom apartments and 29 two-bedroom apartments. All apartments are for rent. (There is also a communal lounge, laundry room, hairdresser, restaurant , shop and guest room. It is a requirement of this contract that you hold a CQC rating of good or above from the start and for the duration of this contract. Harrogate Court is not currently registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), on contract award the successful provider must commence the CQC registration process. Until the service and manager are both registered with CQC, the successful provider must ensure that the service is overseen by a registered manager or CQC nominated individual, to provide consistent support to the manager. The nominated individual or registered manager designated must currently be responsible for a care service which is currently rated as ‘Good ‘or above with CQC.
