Description
The London Borough of Hackney has completed a series of reviews and market engagement exercises around its current telecare services, with a view to developing a Technology Enabled Living (TEL) Service that will support vulnerable people and their carers across the Hackney Borough. The council has conducted the market engagement exercises through the Pro-Contract Portal entitled Soft Market Testing for Telecare/Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Services in Hackney (Reference DN 595498) the intention being to better understand the opportunities available through the market to develop and deliver a lead provider model for the provision of technology enabled living services. The market has been kept informed of the outcomes through the Pro Contract Portal as referenced. The council is now seeking expressions of interest from potential bidders capable of delivering a Technology-Enabled Living (TEL) service, comprising equipment, call monitoring, and response service components through either a lead provider model, encouraging engagement from inclusion of SME's, or bidders with experience/ capability of delivering all three components of this service.
