Description

Brighter Places sought expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced Suppliers to deliver Gas and Electric servicing and remedial works across its stock in Bristol and the surrounding areas, consisting of approximately 3,600 properties. The contract was split into two lots, with contractors able to bid for both, but only win one lot.  The Contract will be for a total of 15 years, with an initial period of 10 years, followed by a potential 5 year extension. The Contract sought to offer the benefits of best practice in contract delivery and collaborative working practices for Brighter Places. Brighter Places followed a restricted procedure, comprising of two stages: an SQ and an ITT. Following evaluation of ITT's, Brighter Places intended to award to a single contractor per lot. Full details of the requirements and instructions were included in the procurement and tender documents.

Electrical and Life Safety Maintenance Contract (Brunelcare)

Brunelcare wishes to invite Tender Responses for the supply of services and works in respect of electrical and life safety maintenance. The Supplier shall be responsible for all Planned Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance of electrical and life safety systems located within properties owned, leased, or tenanted by Brunelcare. A professionally managed service is to be provided for both Planned and Reactive Maintenance activities. The Supplier shall ensure the availability of qualified on-call personnel to respond to maintenance issues and system failures twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the entire calendar year, including public holidays. Brunelcare is a Bristol-based charity providing high-quality housing, care and support for later living in the South West. The Supplier will be expected to provide services as per the Specification to any Brunelcare asset as required. As and when assets are obtained or disposed of, the Supplier will be notified. Within the Pricing Schedule of this tender, the Contracting Authority has stated a number of assets/properties that the Supplier will be expected to deliver services to - if this list of assets/properties needs to be modified throughout the contract term, this will be considered a "materialisation of a known risk".
