Description

The Advance team, within Opportunity Sheffield, is seeking to purchase individual places on existing taught courses for Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems Level 3.  Delivery requirements:  • Places will be purchased on existing taught courses being delivered between January 2025 and March 2025. The participants may be referred to receive training on any course during the contract term on an ad hoc basis when the individual is identified. It would be expected to host the participant on the next available training session or otherwise as agreed with the participant or their employer. • The training courses shall be delivered in person. The Provider's training facilities, for face-to-face delivery, need to be within Sheffield.  • All relevant PPE will be supplied to the participants by the Provider whereby the participant does not have their own adequate PPE. • Individuals shall, if successful, receive an accredited Level 3 award in Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems. • Evidence of completion of the course and the participants receiving the Level 3 award must be shared with the Contract Manager before the end of March 2025. • Training will be delivered by suitably qualified and experienced tutors holding relevant qualifications and experience. • All required information for participants will be passed to the training Provider by Advance • All joining instruction and joining details will be passed to participants by the Provider. • These courses are for employed individuals who wish to upskill or change career so must be delivered at appropriate times to accommodate working individuals.

WNC is the accountable body for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Northamptonshire, and West Northamptonshire. This tender relates specifically to West Northamptonshire.
