DAERA is seeking to establish a ranked contract for the supply and delivery of Brucellosis testing kits for blood sampling of cattle in Northern Ireland. Brucellosis is a significant zoonotic disease in Northern Ireland and has been successfully eradicated from the national cattle herd with Official Brucellosis Freedom status attained from the EU in 2015. Medical Consumables and Equipment Open Tender

South East Coast Ambulance Service ("the Trust") is creating a framework of suppliers to supply Medical Consumables and Equipment, and deliver to relevant Trust sites, appointing a number of suppliers per product to meet supply and demand requirements. For this tender the Trust will be acting as the project lead for members of the new Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration (SASC). The Trust manages medical consumables through its Logistics Team which oversees the distribution, storage, of medical consumables and maintenance, and servicing of all medical devices and equipment used for patient care across its region of Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. the Trust's requires deliveries to its two logistic sites, for internal storage and distribution across its sites to replenish stocks as required. Other Trusts using this contract will advise delivery requirements at the time of engagement or order. This requirement is being advertised alongside the East of England Central Procurement Hub's Emergency Medical Consumables and Equipment Framework for those suppliers awarded to all Lots. The reason for two tenders, is there are more suppliers in the market than those awarded to the framework.
