Description

The AI Safety Institute ("AISI") are a function within the Department for Science Innovation and Technology ("the department"). AISI operates in a very fast-moving technology context where AI model capabilities are growing in rapid and sometimes unexpected ways, including across different languages and media.
As part of its work AISI is seeking to stimulate the wider safety research marketplace. One element of this involves contracting a series of partners to help develop evaluations for frontier AI systems and involves discovery and consultancy with the AI market to support its core objective of improving the safety of frontier AI. Therefore, AISI is looking to appoint a Strategic Business Partner who can support this objective with an emphasis on flexibility and pace.

The UK is a signatory to the European Convention on the Protection of the Archaeological Heritage (revised) 1992. The aim of the Convention is to protect the archaeological heritage as a source of the European collective memory and as an instrument for historical and scientific study, whether on land or underwater.In order to meet this commitment and to provide for the conservation and enhancement of significant marine heritage assets, Historic England is seeking to procure, within a single contract, assessment functions to support marine protection and management for the two-year period April 2025 to March 2027 (inclusive).
