Description

1.	The City and County of Swansea is seeking to enter a Contract with a suitably competent Contractor with a licensed facility with sufficient capacity to collect, haul and process for re-use/recycling/recovery street sweeping and gulley wastes delivered to the nominated reception point from the Council's cleansing operations in a manner which complies fully with all waste legislation, using methods designed to maximise the Reuse/Recycling/Recovery of such materials

Swansea Council collect co-mingled glass bottles, glass jars, steel cans, aerosol cans and aluminium cans from 105,000 properties within Swansea. The co-mingled material is segregated at its Baling Plant in Llansamlet, Swansea resulting in separate waste streams of steel (ferrous) cans and aluminium cans. The cans are separately baled in preparation for collection by or delivery to a re-processor. Garden Waste Treatment and Disposal Contract

Lewisham Council invites you to submit a Tender for the disposal of its garden waste tonnages. The Council requires a contractor to: Allow direct deliveries by the Council's Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) for the tipping of the Contract Waste or a contractor working on behalf of the Council using articulated bulkers. The contract will be between the successful Tenderer and the Council for the period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a period of 2 years at the Council's discretion.
