Description

A ground investigation is required to obtain environmental and geotechnical information for the stabilisation of the Gorey Pier, St Martin, Jersey.  

The planned ground investigation includes the following elements:
•	10No. rotary-percussive boreholes,
•	6No. Plate Load Tests (within Pier Trial Pits),
•	12No. trial pits,
•	4No. Hand Trial Pits (Parapet investigations),
•	2No. Concrete Cores and Window Sampling/Boreholes
•	Geophysics,
•	10No Hand Dug Pits
•	Surveying, and
•	Laboratory testing

Mampitts Community Hub

The Mampitts Community Hub (the Hub) will serve as a key facility for the local community, offering indoor and outdoor spaces to enhance social interaction, recreation, and inclusivity. This Invitation to Tender invites architectural practices to provide detailed design and construction-stage support. The scope includes RIBA Stages 4 (Technical Design), 5 (Construction), and 6 (Handover). The project is set with funding conditions and is in line with Dorset Council S106 protocol for community schemes. If companies require additional time to submit a proposal (noting the closing date is 31st January 2025) then a formal request needs to be submitted to the Town Clerk by 13th January 2025. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected]. Hard copies (to supplement electronic submission) may be delivered to: Shaftesbury Town Council, Town Hall, High Street, Shaftesbury SP7 8LY marked 'tender private and confidential.'

MEP Consultant to support Airport Departure Lounge Development at Jersey Airport, Channel Island

PoJ requires the services of an MEP Consultant to support the Jersey Airport Departures Lounge refurbishment based on the high level overview below: • Assist with the development of the pre-existing RIBA Stage 2 design, to RIBA Stage 4 coordinated information (part shell & core / part full fit out). Design to be progressed and produced in -line with the phased approach for construction of the works as outlined within the Scope of Requirements document. • Stage 2+ / 3 / 4 design information to accord with all current local / national regulations, including all relevant aviation regulations. • Identify opportunities and input into value engineering across RIBA Stages 3 & 4. • Ongoing support during workstages 5 & 6 i.e. to completion / handover.
