Description

Havebury has over 7,500 properties and has the
responsibility to undertake maintenance and
servicing of commercial lifts within its properties
across its operational area of a 50-mile radius of
Bury St Edmunds.
Havebury intends to commission a contract with a
professional company with the ability to carry out
servicing, emergency callouts, and repairs to lifts
located at various sites as highlighted in the lift
schedule.
Servicing and repair of lifts to be carried out in
residential buildings, communal areas and office
building.

External Building Fabric Upgrades

The Council have ambitious plans to improve the living conditions of our tenants whilst improving assets and have significant external works investment programmes in place over the coming years. Contractors will be required to carryout external works including external wall insulation with rendered finish and pitched roofing work programmes; providing the necessary access equipment to safely carryout the work. Contract for Electrical works at Sketty park

Swansea Council intends to Complete EWI, Roofing& Associated Works at 28 properties in the Sketty park area. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached properties and 2 storey flats and 3 storey block of flats. External wall fabric is traditional cavity wall construction made up of an internal blockwork skin, 50mm cavity and a pebble dashed blockwork / brickwork external façade. For Swansea council to achieve this, it will be required by the electrical subcontractor to remove and make safe any electrical accessories from the externals and reinstate once works have been completed. Any properties that at present don’t have external lighting will require newly installed cabling, containment, light fittings and any other items for a complete installation.
