Description

Tower Hamlets Public Health currently commission two specialist tier 2 weight management programmes for adults with learning disabilities (contract value £50,000) and physical disabilities (£60,000) on rolling one-year contracts. The current contracts expire on 28th February 2025.
This procurement is in relation to four-year a single-supplier framework, split into two lots (one for learning disabilities and one for physical disabilities), whereby annual call-offs will be issued in line with available budget for the year
The estimated value for the full four year term is £440,000

Extra Care Housing Schemes in Slough - Care and Support Services

Slough Borough Council is seeking suitably experienced and qualified providers for the provision of Care and Support services for Extra Care Housing across two schemes in Slough, at The Pines and Northampton Place (total 126 units). The Care and Support services offered in Extra Care are mainly aimed at older people but may also meet the needs of younger adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or mental health challenges. West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) seeks experienced delivery partners to implement the South Midlands Connect to Work Programme in West Northamptonshire. It forms part of the UK Government’s Get Britain Working strategy to reduce economic inactivity and promote inclusive growth. The Connect to Work programme aims to support 1565 economically inactive residents in West Northamptonshire over the next five years by delivering personalised support, including employability training, confidence building, and workplace adjustment advice, increasing awareness and access to local job opportunities, identifying and addressing barriers to employment for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions, reducing economic inactivity and reliance on other services through sustained employment, promoting diversity and inclusion among local employers and working collaboratively with other South Midlands local authorities. This funding is allocated to the South Midlands Partnership region. WNC is the accountable body for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Northamptonshire, and West Northamptonshire. This tender relates specifically to West Northamptonshire.
