HSE are seeking research to help us understand the following question 'Does the pesticide risk assessment for leaching to groundwater need to be amended to take better account of preferential flow?'. This project involves reviewing the regulatory assessment for exposure of groundwater to pesticide a.s. and their soil metabolites. The Contractor will need to produce a report proposing potential methods for carrying out a UK-relevant first-tier groundwater exposure assessment taking better consideration of preferential flow.
