Description
Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the Provision of Framework Agreement for the Provision of Supported Accommodation and Practice Flats for 16+ Young People The requirement of these services is that they will provide high quality, local accommodation and support for Young People, whilst ensuring their personal well-being and safety. The support provided must equip Young People with the life skills required to sustain an independent tenancy long term, thus preventing future homelessness. The service will support vulnerable Young People whose lives may be chaotic, and in need of high levels of support and input from specialist teams. The service will provide the Young Person with a settled period in a safe environment, where they will receive an intensive housing management and support service, which will signpost Young People to the most appropriate Specialist Service Provider e.g. drug and alcohol, sexual health, CAMHS, domestic abuse, parenting services or any other appropriate service. The Contract will be split into the following Lots. Tenderers are invited to bid for a single, several or all of the Lots listed below:- LOT Number LOT Title LOT 1 Multi-occupancy accommodation with housing management support on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including 5 hours 1:1 additional support per person per week LOT 2 Multi-occupancy single gender Separated Migrant Children (SMC) accommodation with housing management support on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including 5 hours 1:1 additional support per person per week LOT 3 Solo placement accommodation (2 bed) with 1:1 support on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for Young People that cannot be placed with others LOT 4 Solo placement accommodation (2 bed) with 2:1 support on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with a planned reduction to 1:1 LOT 5 Duo placement accommodation (3 bed) with 1:2 support on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for Young People who are developing the skills to share accommodation following a period of solo accommodation LOT 6 Practice Flats - step down (1 bed) accommodation with 12-week support programme (inclusive of 60 hours decreasing 1:1 support) LOT 7 Support Only - hourly support for Young People requiring short-term targeted assistance with activities in the community whilst away from their supported accommodation This procurement is an open process.
