Description

PA Housing are tendering for Grounds Maintenance Services to PA estates and grounds in the Nottinghamshire and Melton Mowbray. The sites will number 66 and will require the following services to include but restricted to:
      
      The Services required by the Contract, include but are not restricted to: 
      o Inspection, cleaning, application of preservative and occasional replacement of landscape furniture including bench seats, litter bins, notice boards and signs 
      o Litter Collection, Sweeping and Clearance of Debris 
      o Grass Cutting and Maintenance 
      o Edging 
      o Grass Reseeding / Turfing 
      o Supply of Planting Material, mainly shrubs and roses 
      o Shrub Maintenance 
      o Rose Maintenance 
      o Hedge Maintenance 
      o Application of pesticides, as required and in accordance with the appropriate legislation 
      o Trees - the lifting of trees to facilitate ease of maintenance when undertaking horticultural operations and emergency works as defined within the specification 
      o Snow Clearing and Gritting 
      o Grounds maintenance tasks associated with the maintenance of children's play areas 
      
      The selected Supplier will enter into a Contract in accordance with the JCT Measured Term Contract (2016) published by The Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) incorporating Paragon Asra Housing Limited's amendments and Special Terms. The amendments and Special Terms are designed to give Paragon Asra Housing Limited and the Contractor greater certainty in a number of areas.
      
      It is intended that the Contract will commence in July 2025, and run for a period of two years and six months to terminate 31 January 2028.

Ground Maintenance Works and Biodiversity Enhancements

North Wales Police & North Wales Fire & Rescue Service seek the services of an experienced and qualified contractor who will be able to provide both planned ground maintenance services, reactive work for example tree cutting, and minor works to support the continued tidiness and care of gardens/grassed areas/boarders etc across the estate along with control of invasive species. Where Biodiversity project grass cutting regimes have been assigned to sites, the designated grassed areas will be allowed to grow between April and August each year to increase the habitat area available to pollinators and other species. These include, but are not restricted to: - BS7370 - Grounds Maintenance; BS3998 - Tree Work; BS4428 - Code of Practice for general landscape operations; Pesticides Code of Practice (Ministry of Agriculture, Pesticides Handbook); Approved Codes of Practice 1995 (COSHH).
