Description

The London Borough of Wandsworth (Council) in partnership with the South West London Integrated Care (ICB) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the delivery of a Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Infrastructure, Capacity Building and Volunteering Support Service for the borough of Wandsworth.  The outcomes and deliverables for this ambitious new service have been co-developed with the local Voluntary and Community Sector and other statutory and non-statutory stakeholders. It will embed a collaborative sector-wide approach to creating a thriving, resilient and connected voluntary and community sector, and a borough that is fairer, more compassionate and sustainable. In summary the service will provide: •	A professional engagement service which provides strategic leadership, representation, voice and advice for the voluntary and community sector to enable it to become more sustainable, effective and strategically engaged with the local priorities of the Council and its partners.<br/>•	develop the voluntary and community sector skills base and sustainability and build trust and confidence in its capacity to deliver services and make a positive contribution to the borough.<br/>•	build capacity in voluntary organisations to recruit and retain volunteers and appropriately match potential volunteers to volunteer involving organisations.<br/>The contract will be for a period of three (3) years commencing from 1st July 2025 and subject to an extension option of up to a further two (2) years. The total contract value (including the extension options) is £1,650,000. The maximum (ceiling price) contract value per annum is £330,000.
