Framework Agreement for the Provision of Construction Consultancy Professional Services.
The Framework will be divided into six (6) individual Lots and each Lot shall be evaluated and awarded on an individual basis based upon the award criteria identified below. Tenderers are invited to Tender for one, several or all Lots, however part bids for individual Lots will not be considered.
Description of Lots:
Lot 1 - Architectural Services (Inc. Conservation, Lead Consultant, Principal Designer)
Lot 2 - Quantity Surveying Services
Lot 3 - Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Services
Lot 4 - Structural & Civil Engineering Services
Lot 5 - Building Surveying Services
Lot 6 - Energy & Sustainability Engineering Services

Upper Thurne Construction Works - Package 2

Broads IDB is planning to procure a Contractor for the design and construction of 3 x pumping stations, namely Martham pumping station, Potter Heigham pumping station and Brograve pumping station. It also allows for the optionality of adding one additional similar pumping station site namely Somerton South pumping Station and Culvert or Repps pumping station at a future date. Each of these sites has an existing pumping station which will need to be decommissioned. Design for all sites principally consists of tasks as follows: - Telemetry system - External lighting - Control kiosk including HVAC - Motor Control Centre and full electrical system design including Functional Design Specification - Stop log systems and non return / control valves - Ducting and draw pit numbers and dimensions - Precast Concrete Units - MCC support frame - Temporary works including relevant licenses, permissions and consents The Water Management Alliance (WMA) will oversee this procurement on behalf of the Broads Internal Drainage Board working with Turner & Townsend as advisors. Bidders who express an interest following a Tender Notice being released will be invited to take part in an accompanied, group site visits incorporating Martham, Potter Heigham and Brograve on the following dates (each organisation need only attend one of the 2 days and will be limited to one vehicle and 2 attendees. The vehicle must be a 4x4 to enable access to these sites): Tuesday 25th November 2025 Wednesday 26th November 2025 Any questions and answers raised across the 2 site visit days will be shared with all bidders in writing via the eTender system. The total value of the Contract is estimated at between £8,000,000 and £20,000,000 excluding VAT.
