Description

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for Short Term Services (home-based services).
      
      The Contract will commence on 01 April 2025 and will be for a period of 2 years (with the option to extend for a further 1 year).
      
      Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 14:00 hrs on Friday 27 September 2024.  
      
      How to obtain the Tender Documents
      The Tender documents can be accessed when logged into In-Tend by selecting 'View Details' on the relevant tender advert and clicking the 'Express Interest' tab. Once in the tender there are five tabs - 'Tender', 'ITT - documents', 'Correspondence', 'Clarifications' and 'History'. Select the 2nd tab (ITT - documents) where you will find useful information under 'Tender Details' continue to scroll down to the heading 'Tender Documents Received' where you will be able to view / download the documents.
      
      Please download all the documents and read very carefully.
      
      Opting In and Opting Out
      Please note you are required to 'Opt In' before you can access the 'My tender Return' to start populating your response. 
      
      PLEASE NOTE you are required to 'Opt In' to view & complete the Questionnaire for this project. 
      
      The 'Opt Out' functionality will also be available throughout the duration of the tender process. Opting out will give you the option of declaring you no longer want to receive any further communication in relation to this tender along with the opportunity of providing comments and feedback for this decision.
      
      You can choose to 'Opt In' at any time during the tender process if you initially decided to 'Opt Out'.

Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership Training Provider

The Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership (BSCP) is seeking to commission a comprehensive programme of multi-agency safeguarding training for professionals and volunteers working with children and families across Birmingham. This procurement will support BSCP's statutory duty to ensure that organisations collaborate effectively to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. BSCP is the statutory safeguarding partnership for Birmingham, comprising Birmingham City Council, Birmingham & Solihull Integrated Care Board, and West Midlands Police. The programme will include over 50 courses and webinars a year. The provider will be able to proactively source trainers with relevant skills and experience to deliver training in a ever changing environment. Training must: Reflect current legislation, statutory guidance, and local priorities. Incorporate learning from Serious Case Reviews, audits, and thematic reports. Promote multi-agency collaboration, professional curiosity, and effective challenge. Be accessible to a wide audience, including statutory agencies, voluntary sector organisations, and faith groups. Core Training Themes Child Protection Fundamentals: Roles, responsibilities, and thresholds. Specialist Safeguarding Topics: Child exploitation (criminal and sexual). Domestic abuse, coercive control, and perpetrator-focused approaches. Safeguarding disabled children and cultural competence. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) awareness. Emerging Priorities: Mental health awareness for community and faith organisations. Online safety and radicalisation prevention. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma-informed practice. Practice Development: Professional curiosity and escalation. Strengthening Families Framework. Learning from local and national reviews. Delivery Model Format: A mix of virtual and face-to-face sessions. Approach: Interactive, discussion-based learning with practical application. Evaluation: The Provider must implement robust feedback mechanisms and report attendance and impact data. Objectives This procurement aims to: Strengthen safeguarding practice across Birmingham. Ensure consistent, high-quality learning opportunities for all agencies. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and shared responsibility for child protection.
