Description

The Scottish Ministers, acting through Marine Directorate are looking to engage a supplier to provide the planned maintenance, repair and unplanned repair of its Fire Fighting Equipment and Life Saving Appliances on board the patrol and research vessels in operation and marine offices for an initial 48 month period with an optional 12 month extension.

Supply and Support of Electronic Chart data for Border Force Cutters

Border Force is a law enforcement arm of the Home Office and operates a fleet of five sea going Cutters operating in both UK National and International waters under the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) Load Line Regulations. Provision of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) & Port Data is required to support safe navigation both within and outside the territorial waters of the UK, including to other EC countries, the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man. The Cutters currently operate a suite of Simrad Argus NSTR and Simrad PLECDIS. The requirement as described in the attached Statement of Requirement includes all supporting software, licences, software updates, access codes, encryption codes and encryption keys as applicable. The purpose of this notice is to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised bid. Bidders are required to submit their quotes and responses to questions utilising the templates provided in the Statement of Requirements attached below. These have also been provided separately in MS Word format. The following timeline for this contract only is as follows; 1. 1700hrs, 10th March 2025 - deadline for submission of bids. 2. w/c 10th March 2025 - evaluation of bids. 3. (On or around) 18th March 2025 - contract award. 4. 1st April 2025 - Contract Start; and 5. 29th June 2026 - Contract End. The Buyer reserves the right to change or withdraw this opportunity, for any reason, at any point, prior to contract award.
