Description

Provision and delivery of the specialist consultant-led integrated sexual health service
(ISHS) that local authorities are responsible for commissioning, including testing and
treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV, the provision of HIV PrEP
and provision of the full range of contraception services tailored to meet the needs of our
population at all stages across the life course. A central aim of the service will be to reduce
inequalities in sexual health outcomes, achieved by delivering services to the general
population with a specific focus on those groups where the burden of sexual ill health is
recognised to be greater.
The service will support delivery against the five main national sexual health Public Health
Outcomes Frameworks measures: 
• under 18 conceptions;
• chlamydia detection rate; 
• new STIs diagnosis (excluding chlamydia in the under 25s); 
• prescribing of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) excluding injections (females
aged 15 to 44).

The service will also contribute to the ambitions of the Derby and Derbyshire Sexual Health
Alliance and locally identified service outcomes

KCC is seeking a suitable organisation to propose and deliver a programme of non-clinical Level 1 Universal Parent Infant Relationship Interventions, to test and pilot new ideas. Level 1 Parent Infant Relationship Intervention will comprise of the following elements. •Creative group sessions – Interactive for parents/families with their baby/Infant •Facilitated group discussion – to include peer and mutual support •One to One support and feedback to parents. This universal intervention aims to help prevent impaired bonding with a baby, promote positive parent and infant mental health and wellbeing and facilitate a stronger parent and infant bonding experience. The pilot is aimed at families that have a baby/infant up to the age of two. As part of this KCC would like to see creative group sessions that offer early support for those families with a newborn/infant up to 6 months. Families are defined as mums, dads, new parents, co parents, partners and carers which include family members who play a vital role in supporting parent infant relationships and the family's mental health.
