Marine Licencing and Specialists Advice Framework 2025

In order to discharge our duties under Marine and Coastal Access Act (2009) and Marine Works EIA Regulations (2007) as amended, Natural Resources Wales Marine Licensing Team (NRW MLT) seek specialist technical advice from appropriate expert bodies on a number of subjects to determine the impacts on the environment, human health, legitimate uses of the sea, and other relevant matters from marine licence applications. Additionally, Welsh Government (WG) and Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) may also seek technical advice or support via this framework

Provision of a Storage Services for Genomic Nucleic Acids and fibroblast cells.

The Authority requires a storage solution for existing Nucleic Acid samples, alongside new nucleic samples, requiring storage from 1st April 2025 When confirmed by the Authority in alignment with RCPath guidance, any samples older than 30 years will require safe and confidential disposal with confirmation in the form of an inventory list along with the method of disposal and date. There are about 5,000 vials s from 1995 which would require disposal in January 2026. Additional to the capacity requirement to store current samples, there is a requirement to store any subsequent years' samples where there is not capacity in the Authority laboratory to store long term. Additional information: How to Express Interest in this Tender: 1. Register your company on the Jaggaer One eSourcing portal (this is only required once) - Browse to the eSourcing Portal: https://eoecph.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml and click the link to register - Accept the terms and conditions and click 'continue' - Enter your correct business and user details - Note the username you chose and click 'Save' when complete - You will shortly receive an email with your unique password 2. Express an Interest in the tender - Login onto the portal with the username / password - Click the ITTs Open To All Suppliers' link (These are invitations to Tender open to any registered supplier) - Click on the relevant ITT (itt_2829) to access the content - Click the 'Express Interest' button at the top of the page - This will move the ITT into your 'My ITTs' page (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only) - You can now access any attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'ITT Details' box 3. Responding to the tender - Click 'My Response' under 'ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or to 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining) - You can now use the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification - Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT - There may be a mixture of online & offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
