Cornwall Council uses the Supplying the South West Portal found at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk  to advertise all tender opportunities.  New users to the system must register on this site to obtain access to the council's e-tendering system (Proactis).\r
\r
The Council is responsible for providing coronial services for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.\r
The Service Provider shall undertake the following tests upon request by the Coroner:\r
(a) Standard (analytical) Drug Testing;\r
(b) Standard (analytical) Alcohol Testing;\r
(c) Standard (analytical) Drug and Alcohol Testing;\r
(d) Enhanced (analytical, calculations and assessments) Drug Testing;\r
(e) Enhanced (analytical, calculations and assessments) Alcohol Testing\r
(f) Enhanced (analytical, calculations and assessments ) Drug and Alcohol Testing;\r

Provision of a Storage Services for Genomic Nucleic Acids and fibroblast cells.

The Authority requires a storage solution for existing Nucleic Acid samples, alongside new nucleic samples, requiring storage from 1st April 2025 When confirmed by the Authority in alignment with RCPath guidance, any samples older than 30 years will require safe and confidential disposal with confirmation in the form of an inventory list along with the method of disposal and date. There are about 5,000 vials s from 1995 which would require disposal in January 2026. Additional to the capacity requirement to store current samples, there is a requirement to store any subsequent years' samples where there is not capacity in the Authority laboratory to store long term. Additional information: How to Express Interest in this Tender: 1. Register your company on the Jaggaer One eSourcing portal (this is only required once) - Browse to the eSourcing Portal: https://eoecph.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml and click the link to register - Accept the terms and conditions and click 'continue' - Enter your correct business and user details - Note the username you chose and click 'Save' when complete - You will shortly receive an email with your unique password 2. Express an Interest in the tender - Login onto the portal with the username / password - Click the ITTs Open To All Suppliers' link (These are invitations to Tender open to any registered supplier) - Click on the relevant ITT (itt_2829) to access the content - Click the 'Express Interest' button at the top of the page - This will move the ITT into your 'My ITTs' page (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only) - You can now access any attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'ITT Details' box 3.
