Description

The Corporation of Trinity House operates a wide range of marine aids-to-navigation (AtoNs) to support shipping around the coast of England, Wales and the Channel Islands. By the nature of the aids provided, the organisation supports a large number of historical sites in remote coastal environments. As a result of this, TH requires a contactor or contractors to undertake the on-going geological, civil, technical and environmental surveying of these aids-to-navigation.

Generation 5 Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Framework 2025-2029

The Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Framework 5th Generation 2025-2029 (Gen5 GGF) is designed to provide Hampshire County Council (HCC) with the provision of site investigation services, technical geotechnical advice and associated specialist technical services in the fields of highways engineering, construction, property and transportation operations. Gen5 GGF will support resources and departments of HCC for its construction related projects. These include highways infrastructure improvements, waste recycling centres, school and care centre building extensions, new schools, fire stations and other public buildings, contaminated sites, landslips and other related investigative geological and geotechnical services associated with HCC's objectives. The Framework will be used for commissions within the geographical area of Hampshire. It may be required for works to be carried out within the County of Hampshire (including the Unitary Authority areas of Southampton and Portsmouth) and also for works in Counties which border Hampshire. The Framework will only be utilised and managed by HCC and no other authority, however HCC may call-off to provide support for neighbouring authorities.

DFE – The Provision of Expert Mine Engineering Advice

The Department for the Economy (DfE), the Department’s Agencies and dependent bodies require a Contractor to provide advice and expertise in all aspects of mine engineering. The Contractor will provide advice on the safety and remediation options for abandoned mines throughout Northern Ireland, thereby assisting the Department to carry out its functions under the Mineral Development Act (Northern Ireland) 1969. In addition, the Contractor will be required to review operational and planned underground mining activities including the Kilroot Salt Mine, Carrickfergus, Co Antrim (owned and operated by the Irish Salt Mining and Exploration Co Ltd (“ISME”).
