Medication Administration Service

Milton Keynes City Council ('the Council') is currently out to tender for the provision of a Medication Administration Service. Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council are working together to commission Medication Administration services for residents in Milton Keynes, where requiring support to safely administer their medication is an identified need. Medicines support is any support that enables a person to manage their medicines. This covers prompting or reminding people to take their medicines; helping people remove medicines from packaging; and administering some or all of a person's medicines. Referrals for the service will come from CNWL District Nurse team only and could be located anywhere within Milton Keynes. Any prospective Providers will be registered with CQC, with the registered office located in Milton Keynes.
