Framework for the Survey, Design, Supply, Install, Remove, Recondition and/ or Store of Stairlifts and Associated Works in the Community. The scope of lifts currently delivered encompasses Straight & Curved Track Stair Lifts, of which a combined total of approximately 175 are delivered on an annual basis across the County. Successful Service providers will visit clients, carry out surveys and submit quotes to the Home Improvement Agency (HIA). Following submission of quotes, the HIA will approve grants and allocate funding based on the eligibility of clients and works as detailed in the Housing Grants, Construction and Repair Act 1996 and Durham County Council policies. 1 Bidding organisation will be appointed onto this framework. This Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council and the following additional Contracting Authorities, where they have entered into a Procurement Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Durham County Council. Suitable replacement of roller shutter doors at basement level interlocked with lift system required. Full compliance with latest safety standards for accessible goods lift platform and relevant standards for and stage lift equipment must be met. All controls to be open protocol with parts openly available to competent persons with goods lifting platform and stage lift equipment experience.
