Description

Peterborough City Council's Care & Repair team will be establishing a provider list so that it may award Works contracts for handyperson services.

The overall aim of the Works will be to assist and support elderly, vulnerable and disabled local residents (adults and children) to live independently and be warm and safe.

The Handyperson Works Contracts to be awarded will deliver general minor Works in the homes elderly, vulnerable and disabled local residents (adults and children).

The Handyperson Services Provider List will commence on April 1st 2024 and run until March 31st 2028. The Authority may, at its sole discretion, reopen the Application Stage so that new providers may submit a Bid to join the Provider List at any time during the term of the Handyperson Services Provider List.

THE PROVISION OF HV/LV ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

HSE have a requirement to increase the available electrical capacity on their western test sites, namely Turncliffe and Diamond Hill areas. HSE have previously invested in increasing the High Voltage (HV) supplies to these areas, to facilitate an increase in the available Low Voltage (LV) capacity. The types of testing carried out in these areas has changed in recent years, with a focus on EV Batteries and Hydrogen as a fuel for vehicles and for energy. CONTRACTOR FOR SOCIAL HOUSING SCHEMES - PORTRUSH

The project is for the provision of 33 new dwelling units and all associated external works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, landscaping, roads / footpaths / parking, gardens, fencing, rails and other ancillary works. A significant amount of the works is Contractor design. The proposed housing developments are located across 3 brownfield sites within Portrush, Glenmanus Road, Parker Avenue and 22 Glenmanus Village. The Parker Avenue site is a vacant plot in a residential neighbourhood, located between 35 Hopefield Avenue and 7 Parker Avenue, Portrush. The 22 Glenmanus Village site is 0.13 HA in area consisting of an existing dwelling and outbuildings (to be demolished) located at the end of a residential cul-de-sac at 22 Glenmanus Village, Portrush.
