Description

We're creating this DPS following on from market engagement and research to help our customers meet their decarbonisation aims and targets. We've consulted with relevant stakeholders with regards to the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) to create a product that aligns with their requirements and funding applications for customers.

The DPS covers different decarbonisation works including building fabric, renewable heat and hot water solutions, renewable power solutions and whole house retrofit at a variety of different levels. We've designed it this way so that both smaller customers and suppliers can benefit.

Additional information:
It should be noted that it's likely that many of the further competitions that will be advertised through this DPS will be funded by the SHDF, which has specific requirements that must be fulfilled. For example, projects will need to comply with PAS2035, or any subsequent standards or legislation. The Decarbonisation DPS is also available for SEC customers that have their own funding for decarbonisation projects. In order to submit a compliant tender at further competition stage, suppliers should check those requirements to make sure they can be fulfilled.

The DPS is divided into 4 lots - 1) Insulation, 2) Renewable Heating & Hot Water, 3) Renewable Power & Storage, & 4) Whole House Retrofit. There is no restriction as to the number of lots you can apply for. Successful applicants will be awarded a place on the DPS from February 2025 after which time customers may call-off contracts.
