DESIGN + WORKS
Suppliers are invited to bid for a framework comprising of 2 Services.
Suppliers will be required to carry out adaptations to residential properties, owner-occupiers, private tenants and social tenants, who reside in Trafford, and carry out design and construction related works to properties requiring adaptation changes to assist occupants to maintain a degree of independence when disability limits daily activity.  All works are funded using Disabled Facilities Grant.
Suppliers joining the framework will be required to design and deliver works to carry out a variety of adaptations to properties of all tenure and to remove instances of disrepair in privately owned properties which include;
•	wet room/ wet floor bathrooms/ external ramps and level threshold doors/ general building work/ lighting for visual impairment/ automatic door opening systems, not an exhaustive list.
•	Single story extensions to provide bedroom or bathroom or both, and garage conversions (to provide same).
•	Repairs to residential properties to remove health and safety issues (brickwork/ roof repairs/ soffits, fascias and gutters, doors and windows, electrical rewires/ plumbing/ security and general building works – not an exhaustive list)
All works listed are provided to owner occupied and tenanted residential properties within Trafford where the occupant may be disabled, vulnerable and/or elderly.

Parsons Close - Splash Park Refurbishment

Leighton-Linslade Town Council wishes to appoint a Splash Park Contractor to refurbish our current Splash Park located in Parsons Close Recreation Ground, LU7 1AD. The deadline for your PQQ and formal quotation is 9am on 24th October 2025 Requirements for the Splash Park; • To address the crumbling surface of the existing area. • To address the issue of increased detritus getting into the current filtration system and therefore increasing the current chemical usage and wear and tear on plant room operations. • To provide within your quotation the estimated savings on chemicals, water and electricity by choosing your suggestions. • To consider revamping the play features thus bringing new and exciting features to the public of our town. • To promote inclusivity to our Splash Park considering access and egress for all. • To increase the longevity of this much needed attraction in our town and help to reduce its carbon and ecological footprint. A preferred supplier recommendation from the presentations phase will be put to Full Council on 24th November 2025. The successful provider will then be notified following this.
