Municipal Building: Design element for the cultural and creative transformation works to the Passmore Edwards Building, Falmouth

The Council invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers ("Suppliers") for the provision of a professional services design team for design services to overhaul the Passmore Edwards Municipal Building. It should be noted that work consist of the following: a) Internal works to redesign the internal gallery space (see brief). Initially this is to undertake RIBA Stages 0-2 which will inform a submission for funding. If approved, there will be a second phase RIBA 3-4. The final stage RIBA Stages 5-6 will also be dependent on external funding applications. b) The external works are at RIBA Stage 3 and have both Listed Building Consent and planning permission. c) With the above exception for the external works, where the appointed professional services design team will be required to undertake RIBA stages 3 onwards, for all other aspects of the work they will be required to provide the professional services to undertake all the relevant tasks through the RIBA stages, including surveys, technical studies, business planning and the design of a practical and economically viable solutions through to contract administration.

The Riverside Group - Compliance Quality Assurance Services

TRG have a requirement for Quality Audits of the Compliance work streams. The Head of Compliance (Assurance) had identified the below areas which require QA services.  The lot structure will be as follows:  Lot 1 - Gas   Lot 2 - Electrical Lot 3 - Legionella  Lot 4 - Asbestos   Lot 5 - Fire  Lot 6 - Lifting Equipment  All lots will cover the whole of the TRG stock profile, with national coverage.  Ours aims and objectives are to obtain: Compliant Quality Audits (To ensure work that has been done is correct, sense check sample and data. Spot check and site visit checks) covering the following areas:  Gas & Electric – to cover new installations and remedial works  Legionella – to cover Legionella Risk Assessments, Routine monitoring and remedial works.  Asbestos – to cover Asbestos surveys and Asbestos removal (licenced and non licenced)   Fire – to cover Fire risk assessments, Fire remedial works and servicing of equipment and Installs.  Lifting Equipment – to cover the major lift repairs and low value repairs as well as servicing

Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre - Structural Engineer Advisor

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) acquired the long leasehold interest of the Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre (RVP) in Royal Tunbridge Wells in October 2023. TWBC has appointed RivingtonHark as Development Manager to coordinate a feasibility study of the centre which will be reported to council members in July 2025. In order to achieve the desired programme identified below, which is to report planning consent and RIBA Stage 3 design and cost plan on the subject sites by October 2026, TWBC is procuring a design and planning team who, will be available for appointment immediately subject full council approval in July. This appointment relates to the Structural Engineer Advisor.
