Description

TfGM had a requirement for a supplier to provide a software management system for the Greater Manchester Road Activity Permit Scheme. The GMRAPS service is a joint permit scheme in respect of the adopted roads in the ten Greater Manchester (GM) districts. This includes processing of permit applications, approval of permit applications, processing of revenue generated from permits, and an overarching view to reduce the risk of congestion on roads through multiple works in one location, taking up valuable diversion routes.

The existing contract for the GMRAPS service was due to expire in Sept 2024. TfGM were required to source a new contract to continue the provision of the GMRAPS service. TfGM used the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM1557.13 Framework Agreement as a compliant route to find a suitable supplier following a call-off competition.

The contract is a 3+1 contract term.
