Description

1.	Bridgend County Borough Council (the “Council”) has a statutory duty to comply with the standards specified by Welsh Ministers by regulations under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.
The Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 established a legal framework to impose duties on public organisations to comply with standards of conduct on the Welsh language. This means Welsh must be treated no less favourably than English. The Council must deliver services in Welsh and encourage the use of the language. This means all publications must be produced bilingually and customers who contact the Council in Welsh must receive correspondence in Welsh.
To meet the requirements of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011, we will be awarding a framework agreement to 10 companies (to be used via a call-off process detailed in the Framework Agreement) to translate documents from English into Welsh.

NHS Shared Business Services act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. Lot 5 Video Interpretation 6. Lot 6 One Stop Shop We are committed to working with suppliers who are dedicated to Sustainability and Social Value and there will be a significant weighting on these elements in the tender. Additional information: The value provided is only an estimate. NHS SBS cannot guarantee to successful Suppliers any business through this Framework Agreement. Spend and volumes may vary throughout the life of the Framework Agreement from the anticipated levels given in this notice.
