Description

Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to design and deliver new playground equipment, surfacing and associated works at Fir Tree Close Play Area.
The project is based on several priorities which have evolved from the ongoing costs and maintenance of the existing surfacing and equipment, to a more wholistic view of the entire play area. The site is an important recreational asset for the local community in Southmoor, the Primary School is adjacent and good access by foot for the wider community.
With a fully funded budget, this will be a significant investment for the Council who want to make sure the outcome is a play area that is well designed, practical for both children and carers, and with low maintenance of both surfacing and equipment over the long term.

Amesbury Town Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractor/s to design and deliver new play areas across six (6) locations, to include playground equipment, surfacing, fencing, pathways and associated landscape works as set out in the requirements and specification for each Lot. Developer contributions have been secured to deliver these facilities based on the agreement with Wiltshire Council, with each Lot requiring specific and unique requirements for that location. It is essential that each of the new facilities offers something for a range of ages, abilities, and interests in line with the Lot requirements, ultimately delivering excellent recreational facilities and choices for the community across Kings Gate. Bonnymead Destination Play Area Project

The Town Council is aspiring to create a flagship destination at this location that attracts local residents as well as visitors from outside the immediate area. This tender for the replacement of the existing play area with a flagship destination for play is the first phase in delivering this aspirational vision. The council is considering significant investment into a number of other enhancements across the site in addition to the play area. They may include car park improvements, a seasonal café or tuck shop, water play, improvement to sports and fitness provision. These are in early stages of feasibility and are yet to be fully determined, they fall outside the scope of this tender, however they are mentioned here to give context to the importance of this destination and the flagship play area that is to be created here. Interested suppliers should download and review all the documents that are attached to this notice. Suppliers should notify the procurement contact of their interest to bid for the works.
