Description

The proposed contract is for the provision of a range of planning consultancy services including: • Feasibility Stage: providing concept overview of planning issues and risks for potential sites against legal, environmental and regulatory constraints • Pre Application Stage: advising on the layout and design of buildings, planning objectives, scope and impact, and preparation of planning statements; including evaluation of consultant and/or contractor design submissions • Post Application Stage: monitoring of applications and liaison with consultees to expedite approval; preparation of any required rebuttal statements; responding to any objections raised; confirmation of discharge of planning conditions by designers • General Planning Advice: advising on various planning issues arising that may have an impact on the CA’s current or future housing schemes. CBC - Town Centre East Regeneration Plan

Crawley Borough Council is commissioning a regeneration and delivery plan for the eastern quadrant of Crawley Town Centre—referred to as Town Centre East (TCE). This area includes six key development sites: the Former Town Hall, County Buildings, Crawley College Northern Parcel, the Decathlon Block, the Queensway Block, and the Boulevard Car Parks. Town Planning Consultants

Several Planning Consultants to be selected to a Town Planning Framework: LOTS 1a & 1b. (Strategic Land and London) Portfolio Site Specific Town Planning Services for: i) local planning promotion; ii) planning and development application services including securing planning consents and reserved matters applications; and iii) other e.g. project management and co-ordination of external 3rd party design and technical consultants, for individual portfolio sites. LOT 2. Specialist Strategic Planning Advice. Review of our current agricultural estates to determine if there are additional strategic land portfolio opportunities from any of our rural landholdings. LOT 3. Strategic Planning Services. Regular advice on topical strategic, national planning policy and development matters pertinent to all development sites across the TCE Urban, and potentially Rural and Windsor portfolios, and in an advisory capacity as and when needed. This will include providing quarterly briefings to TCE on National Planning Policy matters and presentations to senior colleagues on specific planning and development topics such as estate as well as discretionary strategic planning and policy advisory advice as and when required.
