The Education Authority (EA) invites tenders for the supply and delivery of Hand and Power Tools to individual schools and EA locations within Northern Ireland for a period of 4 years. This framework agreement is let by the Northern Ireland Education Authority (“EA”) and is open to the EA, including NI educational bodies as follows and at some point, during the life of the framework agreement these bodies may wish to utilize the agreement and should have access, at any point, with the permission of EA. Framework for The Supply of Provision of a Fully Integrated TH3 Powered Air Respirator

Gateshead Council is looking to establish a framework for the supply of fully integrated TH3 powered air respirators offering 4 of the highest levels of protection in one head mounted unit. The following protection must be provided: • The respirator must give the wearer complete above the neck 4 in 1 protection. • Head Protection must be an industrial safety helmet combining a super strong ABS shell - Conforming to: EN397 • High Efficiency Filters: High capacity HEPA filters coupled with aerodynamically optimised pre-filter covers ensure delivery of at least 140 litres per minute of clean air to the user with maximum battery efficiency, to provide users with clean air to the level of EN12941:1998 + A2:2008 TH3P • Panoramic Impact Visor - The optical class 1 visor to offer impact protection at speeds of up to 270mph. The visor must have a replaceable peel-off visor protector to prolong its life. The visor must conform to: EN166.1.B • Ear Defenders - must be helmet mounted ear defenders and must provide a of level of 31 SNR. Complete Unit MUST include : Ear defender to SNR31, Visor, filters, prefilters, battery charger, battery, carry case, ear defenders to be embossed with Gateshead Council logo. The contract will also include the supply of spares and repairs for the TH3 respirator. The spares and repairs must all be fully compatible with the TH3 Respirator that is supplied and meet all the same standards and conform to the same requirements in full without any exception.
