Description

The NHS England National Commercial and Procurement Hub supported NHS West Yorkshire ICB to place a new contract for the provision of a General Practice Appointment Booking solution to replace the national contract for appointment booking supplied by Accurx Limited which expired on 30th June 2024.

NHS West Yorkshire ICB's requirement is for an appointment booking solution that enables booking of appointments by patients into GP clinics, long term condition clinics and vaccination clinics with integration with GP clinical systems. The solution is required to meet the digital pathways capabilities that support Modernising General Practice (MGP).

A call-off process from the CCS G-Cloud 13 Framework (RM1557.13) Lot 2: Cloud software was undertaken in accordance with the G-Cloud 13 buyers guide to identify the most suitable provider to deliver requirements. The contract has been awarded to Accurx Limted.

The contract is awarded for an initial period of 9 months with the option to extend for a further 6 months.

Provision of Agent Portal Solution

De Montfort University (DMU) recruits thousands of students from across the world to study at its main campus in Leicester as well as campuses overseas. Currently, a high percentage of these students are recruited in collaboration with international agents who support students through the process and receive a commission should the student go on to enrol at DMU. DMU does not, as yet, have an efficient system to receive and process applications submitted via agents and is currently heavily reliant on manual excel and document uploads to SAP which, when applications are in their thousands, is a time-consuming and inefficient model. DMU therefore now require an 'off-the-shelf' Agent Portal Solution, already in operation at UK HE and/or overseas institutions and must come with the potential for integration with SAP, to facilitate this future area of development for the University. Additional information: All details relating to this procurement opportunity can be found within the Invitation to Tender documentation for the Provision of Agent Portal Solution, DMU Contract Reference 2153/24, uploaded to the InTend e-tendering portal at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home. This represents an Open Tender process and the closing date for receipt of Tender responses is Friday 3rd January 2025.
