Description

Incumbent supplier has confirmed that they are altering their commercial services in the Hastings area from 1 September, resulting in the withdrawal of their service 29 between Hastings, Westfield, Northiam and Tenterden. Therefore, the Council needs to take urgent action to ensure communities are not left without a bus service. The first part of this procurement therefore is to put a replacement service in place: B24329 (A) or B24329 (B). There are 2 options as the Council need to consider which offers the best value for money.

Depending on the cost of the new Hastings-Tenterden contract, should funding be available, the Council may also award a new contract which covers part of the service withdrawn. The specifications for these 'part-services' for evening and/or Sunday service provision are B24323 (A) and B24323 (B). Again there are 2 options as the Council need to consider which offers the best value for money.
