Description

You are invited to submit a tender to provide a two-year concession contract with an option to extend for a further two years for the delivery of enforcement services for the London Borough of Newham.

The successful supplier will be required to work closely with the Council to enforce certain elements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Highways Act 1980.  You will be required to provide uniformed officers to patrol the Borough and issue notices and fixed penalty notices (FPNs) where appropriate. Where required if the FPN is not paid you will be required to support the prosecution of the offender. You will be expected to manage all cases that are initiated from this work from beginning to end.

In the event that a single bidder achieves the highest overall evaluation score for both lots, Lot 2 shall take precedence. In such circumstances, the bidder will be awarded Lot 2, and Lot 1 will be awarded to the next highest-ranked tenderer for that lot. A separate contract will be awarded for each lot, and each lot shall be awarded to one bidder.
