Support Service for Staying Close Care Leavers

A support service for staying close care leavers will deliver high-quality, intensive support to care-experienced young people aged 18 to 25 years. The service will primarily provide peripatetic (outreach) or floating support to those living in Staying Close accommodation. There are currently 14 Staying Close accommodation properties, and these are owned and managed by South Tyneside Council. The service aims to provide care-experienced young people with a psychological and trauma-informed environment where they can develop the interdependent living skills needed to transition successfully into adulthood and maintain stable, long-term accommodation. The estimated annual value of the contract is £300,000 per annum. No preliminary market engagement took place.

Community Based Domestic Abuse Support Service for RBWM Residents

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) seeks to establish a new contract for provision of a high-quality, trauma-informed, community-based domestic abuse support service for adults and children affected by domestic abuse, living in RBWM. This Service will form a critical part of the borough's response to domestic abuse as outlined in RBWM's Domestic Abuse Strategy and the requirements of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. The Service will work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies, placing survivors at the heart of delivery. Full details of the requirements are included in the ITT Specification. Adult Unpaid Carer Support Services

The overarching purpose of the provision of Carers’ Support Services is to ensure that adult carers who are caring for a family member, friend or neighbour who is ordinarily resident in Bedford Borough & Central Bedfordshire (excluding Luton), are supported to maintain: • A positive sense of their own health and wellbeing • Themselves in their caring role, in a way that is safe for them. The Provision of Support Services is for Adult Carers (including Parent Carers caring for people over the age of 18 years old & Parent Carers of children with disabilities under the age of 18. The Provision of Support Services is for Adult Carers including: • Parent Carers caring for people over the age of 24 years old in Bedford Borough • All Parent Carers in Central Bedfordshire This service will provide an early response team to triage carer needs, a higher level support offer for carers assessed as being at level 2 or 3 and Information, Advice & Guidance to level 1 carers who are digitally excluded. The service is expected to work in partnership with other local carers services to ensure carers are able to move seamlessly through and between services and so they do not need to tell their story more than once. The contract will be for three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) years in 12-month-instalments.
