Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council  is seeking to appoint Professional Building Consultants to assist with the council’s construction and maintenance programme. The contracts are being offered in 5 Lots:Lot 1 – Multi disciplinary consultantsLot 2 – Project Management ServicesLot 3 – Quantity Surveying ServicesLot 4 – Structural Engineering ServicesLot 5 - Mechanical Engineering ServicesBidders may apply for one. Some or all of the Lots. The contracts will commence on 1st June 2025 and will last for a period of three years with a possible one year further extensionBetween 5 and 7 bidders will be shortlisted for each Lot. The method of selection will be the highest scorers for section 8, assuming all other pass / fail criteria is met.

Lifecycle and Welfare

Thames Water wishes to award one framework agreement to suppliers capable of project design, building renovations, remedial works and/or the provision and maintenance of welfare cabins. Due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, there is need to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose. The Framework Agreement will cover the following works: Consultancy (Project Design), Internal & External Works (London area), Internal & External Works (Thames Valley and Home Counties), Roofing, Asbestos Consulting, Asbestos Treatment and Welfare Cabins. Thames Water reserve the right to issue multiple awards for each lot in this agreement to achieve the most efficient and economical service solution, and the security and consistent continuity of supply and delivery. Thames Water reserve the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots. In parallel, although on a slightly different timetable, Thames Water is also running a procurement exercise for facilities management services whereby there are some common areas of work with this procurement exercise. Thames Water reserves the right to refine the award criteria. Please note that that deadline for asking for access to the PSQ & submitting of the PSQ is Friday 16th January 2026, at 10 am.

CITY OF ARMAGH RFC EXTENSION AND CLUBROOM ENHANCEMENT SCHEME

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Consultancy firms for the Design and Project Management of the refurbishment of the clubhouse building at City of Armagh Rugby Club, situated at Palace Grounds, Friary Rd, Armagh BT60 4EN. Professional Services RIBA 4-7 for the proposed single-story extension comprising of new Changing, Showering facilities and Physio room. Refurbishment of existing shower areas to provide enhanced male and female changing and shower facilities. City of Armagh Rugby Football Club in (CARFC) was founded in 1875 and since 1977 have been located at their current site on the Friary Road in Armagh. The clubhouse and grounds have been extensively used during this period, not just by rugby club members and visiting rugby clubs but also by the local community and local sporting clubs. Part of the current facilities (approximately 700m2) are substandard (built in 1977) and there is a requirement to ensure that there are facilities suitable for female and disabled participants and that they are adequate and truly inclusive for everyone in CARFC’s ever-growing community. It is the desire that the energy efficiency measures, accessibility and environmental improvements will increase participation volumes in all categories. Significantly, it will also encourage other organisations to use the facilities.
