a desktop review including design drawings and specifications for the original valve works at HMP Berwyn, details of any previous rectification works, surveys and reports by others, and any key contemporaneous records such as photographs during construction and post-completion;   

preparing a short technical report setting out our views on the likely causes of the issues, based on the documents provided to us (and a single "eyewitness" site visit).
