Description

NHS Frimley ICB is commissioning Glaucoma services to ensure that supply meets the demands of our ageing population, that Service Users can choose a provider that most suits their individual needs, that quality and safety are central to provision and that the service does not adversely impact the ability to deliver local comprehensive ophthalmology services.
The Commissioner is directly awarding, following direct award process B, a contract to New Medical Systems Ltd in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.  
The initial contract term is 3 years with an optional extension of up to 1 year. The three-year contract period commenced on the 1st September 2024.
This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.

Bracknell Forest Council Public Health team currently commission Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health (ISH) services on behalf of the three Berkshire East councils (Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Council and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead). While many sexual and reproductive health indicators for Berkshire East local authorities are performing comparatively well to national outcomes, there are some areas for improvement, including: • Improving the chlamydia detection rate • Reducing new syphilis and gonorrhoea infections • Implementing HIV prevention strategies to: o Reduce new HIV diagnosis o Increase HIV testing o Improve earlier detection of HIV and reduce late HIV diagnosis • Increasing contraceptive offer • Reducing under 25s abortions and repeat abortions • Ensuring a more equitable access to sexual and reproductive services What we are looking for The provision of ISH services for Berkshire East which will include the provision of: • An Integrated Sexual Health Service covering all 3 levels of sexual and reproductive health care (levels 1, 2, and 3). • Online sexual health services offering access to emergency hormonal contraception, STI and HIV testing, with opportunities to include testing provision for under-18s, as well as condom distribution and PrEP management. • Outreach services delivering targeted support for children and young people and underserved population groups. • Comprehensive sexual and reproductive health promotion, including a dedicated website offering detailed information and advice on sexual and reproductive health. NHS BNSSG - Planned Outpatients Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board is seeking to secure a Prime Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver a planned outpatients Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS), in line with the specified requirements. The purpose of this planned outpatients NEPTS service is to ensure that there is an equitable and accessible service to all eligible patients in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire based on their medical need. The model is based on all planned outpatient journeys being booked through a central point of contact called a Patient Transport Hub (PTH) where journey requests are made directly by patients/carers and health or social care staff. The budget for this service is £5,483,663 per annum. The contract term is 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, making a contract value of £27,418,315 over the initial 5-year term. If the 2-year extension option is utilised the total contract value is £38,385,641. The contract will be uplifted annually in accordance with the planning guidance published by NHS England, which is usually available in the last quarter of a financial year. The new contract will commence on 1st April 2026. TUPE may apply to this process.
