AWARD NOTIFICATION ONLY TO UPDATE SYSTEM
Electrical Installation and Modification services. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract.
Contractors are required to hold NICEIC accreditation and it would also be desirable to have BAFE or equivalent to apply for this contract.
The main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to, Remedial repairs to Existing Electrical Systems, System Rewires, Lighting Replacement Schemes, Emergency Lighting Projects and other planned investment works requiring electrical repairs services to be completed in ether of the following forms; Operational, schools, commercial and any other properties owned by the Authority or its subsidiaries which may also include properties for sale. 
Up to 5 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework. Works up to £25k will be offered to the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award. For works exceeding £25k a mini competition will be undertaken with the 5 contractors on the framework via the NEPO portal, please refer to the Authority Requirements in the tender pack for further information.

Construction and Development DPS

We are tendering a DPS for Construction and Development Works. The DPS will run for 4 years. If successful, you will have the opportunity to consider local and regional contracts through Further Competition Contracts called off may, where appropriate, exceed the duration of the DPS. The SEC legal entity is SEC Procurement Limited. SEC Procurement Limited is the contracting authority for the purposes of this procurement exercise and will be the entity that enters into the DPS Agreement with the successful suppliers. The DPS may be accessed by: - All corporate Members of SEC Procurement Limited from time to time; and - All other public bodies and contracting authorities (as defined in UK public procurement legislation) who enter into an Access Agreement with SEC Procurement Limited to access the DPS - referred to in the DPS Agreement as Associate Members. The DPS will be divided into 5 categories as follows: Category Number Description 1 Site Preparation, including demolition and clearance, decontamination, reinstatement and remediation 2 New Build & Construction up to a value of ?4,99,999 3 New Build & Construction of a value over ?5 million up to ?9,999,999 4 New Build & Construction of a value over ?10 million up to ?49,999,999 5 New Build & Construction of a value over ?50 million In their Selection Questionnaire response, suppliers must state which categories they are applying for and the regions in which they are willing and able to undertake Development and Construction Works. Please note that during the course of the DPS, it will be possible for suppliers to modify the regions covered as their business evolves. There are no restrictions on the number of Categories or regions that a supplier may apply for. Additional information: We use an electronic tendering portal called In-tend. You must complete the online submission as instructed. Please allow sufficient time when completing your submission so that any technical glitches can be addressed. At the point of registration, suppliers are asked to include a single point of contact in their organisation for their response to the procurement. SEC will not be responsible for contacting the supplier through any route other than the nominated contact. The supplier must therefore make any changes relating to the contact promptly via the SEC portal. When registering, please make sure the publish e-mail address field is completed accurately. This is the e-mail address that will receive automated emails from the system including details on application progress. When you have completed registration, you will then be able to access the various tender areas of the portal. You will then be informed by automated email once documentation has been published. You can then access the documents by logging into the website again and going to the 'my tenders' area of the website.
