Description

Waterman Aspen Limited have been appointed by Bloom Procurement Services Ltd on behalf of East Sussex County Council (ESCC) to oversee the three main streams of project work carried out by the Traffic and Safety Team for a period of 8 months on a full-time basis.
Scope of Contract
Waterman Aspen will:
 Consider detailed crash analysis based on Sussex Police data.
 Carry out site visits with existing team members to identify works that could reduce crashes.
 Assist the team and provide technical expertise to the team in putting together designs and packages of work for the contractor.
 Attend monthly meetings with the contractor to push schemes forward and address any issues that arise.
 Monitor the site and sites completed in recent years for effectiveness.
 Keep thorough and organised notes for all those procedures that meet with ESCC existing working practise.
 Project manage 3 large Road Safety projects.
 Provide regular updates to the Team Manager on the progress of these projects.
 Provide expert technical guidance and support to the existing team members.
 Assist the Team Manager with complex cases.
 Provide expert advice and comment on proposals put forward by other teams and planning applications.
 Report to the Team Manager - Road Safety.
 Identify any changes that could be beneficial to ESCC existing working practices to ensure that the team are working efficiently.
