Description

Walsall Council are seeking to procure a single provider to design and deliver the implementation of 5 outdoor gym facilities across the Walsall Borough. The council have identified the following 5 sites for this project: 
       
      Aldridge Airport 
      Walsall Arboretum 
      Pleck Park 
      Holland Park 
      Pelsall Middle Common 
      
      
      The works associated with this project will include but not be limited to the following elements: 
      The design of the sites 
      Procurement of gym equipment 
      Preliminary works 
      Installation of gym facilities at each of the sites 
      Post installation considerations 
       
      Whilst the requirements apply to each park, for the purpose of this tender, only the design submitted for Aldridge Airport will be evaluated and used to determine the overall project award. This design will be replicated across the 4 other remaining sites. However, it is important to note that the infrastructure and Preliminaries work will vary slightly for each site, this will be separately described and identified within the pricing schedule.  
      Dependant on approval, the design for Walsall Arboretum may require amendment following award to the successful bidder.  
       
      The procurement process being used is a mini-competition under ESPO 115_21 - OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND, FITNESS & SPORTS FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT LOT 7

DfI TRAM Framework Contract for Surface Dressing

This tender notice is for the award of a public contract through an open procedure in accordance with section 20(1) and (2)(a) of the PA 2023. The Department for Infrastructure – Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) intends to establish a multi-contractor, multi-lot framework, for the delivery of Surface Dressing. The Framework will include the following work activities: application of surface dressing, associated road markings, delivery of temporary traffic management as part of associated civils works on live trafficked public roads, and other associated ancillary works. The Framework will comprise of seven Area Lots (1-7). A Measured Term Contract (MTC) Call-Off will be awarded for each Area Lot as listed below. Each MTC will deliver surface dressing works commissioned through Works Orders, each with a value of up to £750k. Area Lots are: SDF S2 - Newry, Mourne and Down / Ards and North Down; SDF W2 - Derry and Strabane / Fermanagh and Omagh; SDF S1 - Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon; SDF W1 - Mid Ulster; SDF N1 - Causeway Coast and Glens; SDF N2 - Mid and East Antrim / Antrim and Newtownabbey; SDF E1 - Belfast / Lisburn and Castlereagh. Framework award is expected to be in April 2026. However, works under the MTC Call-Off Contracts are not anticipated to commence until the 2027 Surface Dressing season, likely to commence in May 2027. This Framework will deliver works from Call-Off contracts with an overall cumulative value of £80m (ex VAT) over the four year term. If the Contracting Authority is unable, for any reason, to award a new framework or to put in place an alternative regime to replace this Framework on its termination or expiry, any Call-Off Contract established under the Framework may be extended for a further period or periods up to a maximum of 12 additional months. This may increase the overall cumulative value to £100m (ex VAT).

Electric Vehicle Charging Point installation, operation and maintenance

Lewisham Council and Royal Borough of Greenwich (the "Partnership") invite you to submit a tender for electric vehicle charging point installation, operation and maintenance. The Partnership has made a joint application and has been awarded £2,981,000 million through the LEVI scheme. The LEVI programme aims to increase the provision of Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure across the boroughs through the installation of EV infrastructure. The Services will comprise of installation, operation and maintenance of electric vehicle charge points (EVCPs). The main objective of this project is to install, operate and maintain new charge points across both of the Partnership's boroughs that will primarily benefit residents without off-street parking. There are three (3) Lots for this tender which cover different areas within the Partnership. The same specification is applicable to all three (3) Lots. The three (3) Lots are split geographically. Suppliers may submit responses for one, two, or all three Lots. Full details of the requirement and context of the procurement can be found in the Service Specification. The Contracts will be between the successful Suppliers and the Partnership for the period of fifteen (15) years with the possibility of extensions totalling up to an additional one (1) year for a total maximum duration of sixteen (16) years.
