Description

The University has a requirement to appoint a supplier to provide the hire of gowns when hosting graduation ceremonies under a concession contract. The requirement will cover both graduates and staff of the University who will partake in the ceremonies
Graduates will be required to pay for any services they require direct to the supplier.  The supplier will pay a minimum of 25% of their student gown hire income back to the University as commission.

The Authority are seeking Contractor(s) for PPE, Workwear and Sportswear to the Higher (HE) and Further (FE) Education Institutions throughout Scotland and Higher Education Institutions and other organisations in England and Wales. Collaborative Partners include the Scottish Ministers (including Agencies), Scottish Non-Departmental Public Bodies, offices in the Scottish Administration which are not ministerial offices, cross-border public authorities within the meaning of section 88(5) of the Scotland Act 1998, The Office of the Advocate General; The Office for the Secretary of State for Scotland, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body, Student Loans Company Limited, the Commissioner of Northern Lighthouse operating as the Northern Lighthouse Board, Scottish Futures Trust, Equality and Human Rights Commission, Business Stream Ltd, any public body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act of the Scottish Parliament, any association of or formed by one or more of the foregoing, bodies financed wholly or mainly by one or more of the foregoing, bodies subject to management supervision by one or more of the foregoing and bodies more than half of the board of directors or members of which, or, in the case of a group of individuals, more than half of those individuals, being appointed by one or more of the foregoing. Wave 6 Train4Tomorrow 'Skills For Life' - Skills Bootcamps

The overall aims of the Skills Bootcamps are: To deliver *flexible training programmes lasting up to 16 weeks, based on employer / sector 'in-demand' skills needs which may be either accredited (i.e. qualification based) or non-accredited (e.g. based on alignment with industry standards) enabling adults (19+) to do training around work and other commitments. Training supports those looking to gain work, additional responsibilities, pivot into new roles or access new opportunities and will offer a guaranteed job interview to individual participants (where applicable) on completion of the course. To address the needs of adults (19+) who are full-time and part-time employed (supported by their Employers), unemployed, returning to work after a break or self-employed, and provide individuals with wider access to opportunities to retrain, update or formalise their skills or acquire specialist skills. To address the needs of employers and the wider economy, to deliver targeted interventions to meet short-medium term demand to fill vacancies and drive productivity. Skills bootcamps will help fill medium-higher level vacancies and bring individuals (including those currently in employment) closer to better jobs, by linking them with line of sight to a job/ different role, additional responsibilities or new opportunities/contracts.
