Bracknell Forest Council Public Health team currently commission Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health (ISH) services on behalf of the three Berkshire East councils (Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Council and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead). While many sexual and reproductive health indicators for Berkshire East local authorities are performing comparatively well to national outcomes, there are some areas for improvement, including: • Improving the chlamydia detection rate • Reducing new syphilis and gonorrhoea infections • Implementing HIV prevention strategies to: o Reduce new HIV diagnosis o Increase HIV testing o Improve earlier detection of HIV and reduce late HIV diagnosis • Increasing contraceptive offer • Reducing under 25s abortions and repeat abortions • Ensuring a more equitable access to sexual and reproductive services What we are looking for The provision of ISH services for Berkshire East which will include the provision of: • An Integrated Sexual Health Service covering all 3 levels of sexual and reproductive health care (levels 1, 2, and 3). • Online sexual health services offering access to emergency hormonal contraception, STI and HIV testing, with opportunities to include testing provision for under-18s, as well as condom distribution and PrEP management. • Outreach services delivering targeted support for children and young people and underserved population groups. • Comprehensive sexual and reproductive health promotion, including a dedicated website offering detailed information and advice on sexual and reproductive health. The service configuration will be tailored to meet the needs of each local authority area. Mental Health Floating Support

City of Doncaster Council is seeking to recommission and develop its Mental Health Floating Support Service for individuals aged 18 and above experiencing a range of mental health needs. Whilst the majority of individuals will have lower needs, the service may also contribute to support packages with other agencies for those with severe and enduring mental health needs, including those with dual diagnosis. Some individuals may also have more complex needs as detailed above therefore requiring a more intensive level of support. Users of this service may be at risk of homelessness, loss of independent living skills and social exclusion and social isolation. Some may struggle with relationships and problems with their neighbours. Individuals may live alone or be part of a larger household. There may be more than one individual within a household living with mental health and requiring support where a whole family approach may be more appropriate. Individuals may be in receipt of services from other agencies and/or professionals; however some may not. The Provider will particularly need to develop a positive and beneficial working partnership with the mental health teams, social work teams, housing providers and other key stakeholders in order to evolve the service in a way that complements the work of and optimises the joint resources to create a stronger support pathway for people experiencing mental ill health. **Please note, the contract published as part of this tender is being reviewed in respect of the Procurement Act 2023. An updated version may be published by the Council within the tender period for all bidder’s consideration and the timescales of the tender period may be extended if and as appropriate.**
