Description

The council intends to install a 4MW solar array on an area of land known as "Burrow Beck" in South Lancaster. A planning application has been submitted for the scheme to Lancaster City Council, which includes all supporting reports and information (23/01383/FUL). Planning determination date will be on 30 September 2024.

The council wishes to appoint an Environmental Geotechnical consultant to activities across two Work Packages (WP) including review and update drainage designs, produce detailed designs/bill of quantities and take on the role of Principle Contractor. The consultant will be required to work with the council's appointed solar PV designer and archaeological consultant ensure drainage designs are practical and fit for purpose and suitable for planning discharge.

All work on site will need to be completed by no later than March 2025.
