Contract 8 - Framework for Floor Covering Installations 2025-27

The Authority invites suitably experienced providers for the above Framework for skilled service to provide Programmed and Responsive Repairs 'Floor Covering Installations Works 2025-2027' The Works for both Housing and Non Housing properties. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Programmed and Responsive Repairs requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. The Framework is initially for 2 years with an option, at the sole discretion of the Authority, to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 months. Details of the operation of the Framework are included in the Tender pack. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to various types of Floor Covering Installations including: Flooring Specification for Kitchen and Bathroom, Walk-in Shower / Wet room (not exhaustive) and the full information is included in the Tender Pack. Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that up to 3 Contractors per Lot will be appointed to the Framework. Works, the highest ranked Bidder will be offered the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award as per the following criteria and Lot value Lot 1 (Housing) Total Estimated Contract Value £1,000,00.00. Fixed Prices and Rankings for first 2 years Lot 2 (non Housing). Total Estimated Contract Value £50,000.00. Fixed prices and rankings for first 2 years with Rank 1 receiving all works up to £20,000 Lot 2 and a mini competition will be issued between all Lot Suppliers for works above that value via the NEPO portal.
