Description

The Surface Dressing single provider framework is for the delivery of in year preparatory works, traffic management, surface dressing, and the reinstatement of road markings associated with the delivery of the Authorities annual surface dressing programme.\r
Surface Dressing will be carried out as part of a planned programme of work to include multiple sites and locations across the Authority. A variety of aggregates and binders will be required to meet the individual characteristics of each site in line with design guidance set out in Road Note 39.\r
The following core duties that the provider will be expected to provide are, the delivery of Surface Dressing in accordance with Road Note 39, Other Surface treatments, Micro Asphalt, Slurry Sealing etc, Preparation works, Reinstatement of road marking and Associated traffic management.\r
All the above will be inclusive of the provision of labour, supervision, materials (including waste), temporary works, plant, traffic management, tipping, landfill tax and other charges, overhead charges and profit as well as the general liabilities, obligations and risks arising out of the conditions of contract.\r
The contract will be in place and ready to start service delivery April 2024
